Tailgating Recipes for Super Bowl Parties

    January 19, 2009 · Filed Under Home · Comment

On the eve of the NFL Divisional Title Games we have our Super Bowl Contenders in the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals.  I for one did not expect either of these teams to still be in the hunt at the end of the WildCard Round let alone be the representatives from each of their conferences.

Regardless of the teams to compete……

It’s Time To Start Thinking SuperBowl Party!

Aside from New Year’s Eve and the 4th of July, the Super Bowl is one of, if not the largest and most favored parties that has no religious affiliation in the United States.  Well maybe to some, football is a religion.

The best Super Bowl Parties have a number of things in common.  There is plenty room to watch the game, preferably on a big screen TV or on multiple sets, there are plenty of refreshing beverages and the food is good and there is plenty of it.

If you think about it, this is an event that can last for hours upon hours with the 5 plus hours of pre-game talk, the game itself, a long half-time show and then the celebrations.  You easily can cross over 2 seperate meal times.

If you are the host, you want the best for your guests and planning enough food and snacks is important.  If you are a guest, you are likely bringing a dish or two to help out your gracious host.

I would like to suggest that you take a look at my two recipes books that will certaily provide you with plenty of tasty options for your Super Bowl Party or Tailgate Party.
